Reasons to Hate George Bush
©November 1, 2006 Asher Intrater

There are lots of reasons to hate George W. Bush.

  1. Muslim extremists hate him because of his leading the war on terrorism and knocking down the terrorist supporting regimes in Afghanistan and Iraq.
  2. Homosexuals, pornographers, and pro-abortionists hate him for standing up for "family values" and appointing conservative judges to the supreme court of the U. S.
  3. Atheists, communists, and humanists hate him for his outspoken testimony of being a so-called "born-again" Christian.
  4. Ahmadinajad, and the Hamas and Hizballah leaders hate him for unequivocally standing by Israel and its government policies.
  5. The leaders of the U. N. hate him for not recognizing them as the ultimate authority over all the governments of the world.
  6. Many hate him because he holds the position of highest government authority in the world today (we all have a rebellious streak that gets irritated by people in authority).
  7. Some Messianic Jews, Christian Zionists, along with various streams of libertarians, hate him because he is not right wing enough, not Zionist enough, not fundamentalist enough.

There has been an unprecedented "flood" of verbal attacks against Bush both in the international liberal press and from Islamic radical propaganda. "So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood… but the earth helped and opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth…" (Revelation 12:15-16).

Next Tuesday, November 7, the Congressional elections in the U. S. are scheduled. Polls are predicting a landslide vote as a reaction against Bush. This could bring a "dark" period politically in the U. S. that could have a darkening effect on America, Israel, and the Church worldwide. "The night is coming when no one can work." (John 9:4). Please fast and pray, urgently. May God's will be done and His mercy prevail.

Even in the midst of world darkness, the light of the kingdom of God will shine more and more. "Darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The nations shall come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising." (Isaiah 60:2-3).

  1. One of our Arab evangelist friends reports on continuing massive turning of the Kurd community in northern Iraq away from Islam and toward the gospel.
  2. RISU news services reported that Vasyl Onopenko, an outspoken evangelical, was elected as the Chief Supreme Court Justice in Ukraine.
  3. Korean Christian Ban Ki Mun's nomination as the next Secretary General of the U. N. was confirmed.
  4. This week approximately 200 Messianic college students from all over Israel gathered together for a breakthrough conference with prayer, worship, and teaching.

I recently asked a large group of Christians if they could imagine a one-world government with the Antichrist ruling over it. There was unanimous affirmation. Then I asked how many could imagine a one-world government with Christ ruling over it. The reaction was virtually zero. I challenged them to look at Scriptures. An end-times rule of an antichrist figure is a MINOR theme, whereas the kingdom rule of King Yeshua is one of, if not the most MAJOR themes of the whole Bible.

So we are to stand in faith; not to worry or be faint hearted.  We are called to fight against darkness with light; against falsehood with truth; against sin with purity; against hatred with love.
