We believe that a national revival is on its way in Israel - "All Israel shall be saved" - Romans 11:28, and that this revival will be connected to a world-wide spiritual awakening leading up to the Second Coming of Yeshua (Jesus) - "And what will their restoration be but life from the dead" - Romans 11:15. Here are seven key elements of divine strategy for revival as found in the book of Acts:

1. World Vision (A-1:8)
Yeshua gave His disciples this great mandate: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be witnesses of Me in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth" - Acts 1:8. He gave this instruction in answer to the disciples' question: "Will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" - Acts 1:6.

This is a vision to change the world and a strategy to bring the kingdom of God on earth. The community of believers needs to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The people of the world need to hear the gospel. After that, the kingdom will come to earth, with peace to all nations, and its capital in Jerusalem.

This vision permeates and motivates everything we do in the ministry.

2. Apostolic Ministry Team (AMT)
Yeshua Himself preached the gospel all over Israel. He had a team of 12 men who were His students, His staff and His ministry interns. Some call this a G-12 team. While 12 may be seen as an approximate number, we note that the apostles added one more to their ranks of 11 to make their number exact (Acts 1:26).

Sha'ul (Paul) the apostle also had a ministry team. They served with him on various levels: some carried his books and coat; others preached and ministered in his place. They did the work of apostolic mission together.

Some call this a five-fold ministry team because it includes all of the five types of ministries (apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher), mentioned in Ephesians 4.

3. Prophetic Praise and Prayer (PPP)
To receive the power of the Holy Spirit, the disciples spent time in prayer (Acts 1:14), praise (Acts 2:11, 47), prophecy (Acts 2:17-18), and fasting (Acts 13:2). They practiced the presence of God in their midst. Our ministry starts with two hours every morning of prophetic praise. This is being done in Hebrew with young, native-born Israeli disciples. We believe that a new dimension of prophetic anointing is being released.

The spiritual warfare of intercessory prayer opens the door for future revival. The presence and power of the Holy Spirit gathered in the midst of the early disciples led to a burst of power (Acts 2:4), which resulted in a forest fire of successful evangelism (Acts 2:41). Worship leads to intercession, and intercession leads to evangelism.

4. Indigenous Evangelism (IE)
The work of the ministry must include personal, local, creative, relational evangelism. Many groups find it easier to concentrate their efforts on competitive programs to bring people to their congregation laterally from other congregations. That attitude does damage to the kingdom of God. We will reap what we sow.

Some think that they will get to evangelism later; but it never happens. Sharing the gospel is the mandate we are given from Acts 1:8 (above). It must be done today and everyday (II Corinthians 6:2). We must allow time for it in our ministry team schedules, and allow finances for the staff, programs, and materials.

Evangelism demands contacts with non-Believers. We must find ways to get out of the believing ghetto, and impact the unbelieving world around us.

5. Discipleship Training Program (DTP)
As soon as evangelism takes place, a discipleship training program must be set in place. Sha'ul gave us that example at his teaching center in Tiranus in Ephesus (Acts 19). The first stage of the discipleship involves much healing, counseling, and deliverance to help the new believers out of the destruction of their past lives.

Then they must learn the basics of faith, holiness, bible study, loyalty, integrity, congregational and family life, submission to authority, etc. They should be involved in prophetic praise and indigenous evangelism right from the start. That is when they are the freshest and can cause real breakthroughs for the kingdom. They must also be given chores of practical service.

Then they must be taught life skills and professional work ethics. If they are to serve the Lord as fishers of men, they must first know how to work as fishermen.

6. Core Congregation (the 120)
A community of people will begin to gather with like values. Their relationships will develop around the spiritual vision. Yeshua started as one with the vision mandate; the disciples were His twelve-member ministry staff; the 120 were the extended set of relationships around the twelve.

The Acts 1 congregation of 120 were a kind of "critical mass" in the spirit, which allowed the nuclear explosion of Acts 2 to take place. They were the original manpower behind the apostolic vision. They launched the mission of world evangelism and the kingdom of God.

In order to be a "critical mass," they had to be squeezed together like enriched uranium. Through prayer, fasting, persecution, and communion, they became perfectly united in heart (Acts 1:14, 2:1). We see this apostolic community both in Jerusalem (Acts 2 and 4) and in Antioch (Acts 13).

7. Congregational Planting Movement (CPM)
The final stage of apostolic revival strategy is to plant and multiply new congregations. To have new congregations, there must be new leaders who are trained and equipped to start them. Congregational multiplication is the key sign of an apostolic movement. Just gathering together existing congregations into a network is not apostolic (that is bishopric).

Congregations must be started in someone's house somewhere. That is the pattern throughout the book of Acts in Ephesus, Philippi, Corinth, Rome, and even Caesarea. The congregation(s) must be taught from the very beginning the pattern to multiply into new congregations.

Revelation 7:4 tells us that there will be 144,000 Messianic believers in Israel in the end times. In my heart I can see 144 Messianic congregations established soon in Israel. When those are in position, the 144,000 will come in like a flood.
