Million Fold Blessing ©November 23, 2008 Asher Intrater I often pray for people to bear fruit for God's kingdom, in fact MUCH fruit. (We don't pray to bear fruit for our own glory but so that our Father in heaven would be glorified.)
You can be blessed 30 fold, 60 fold and even 100 fold.
I even pray for you to be blessed 1,000 fold.
In fact, you can even be blessed more than a MILLION fold.
Some translations read that Rebecca (Rivka) would be the mother of thousands of ten thousand, but that is not what the original says. It says that you may become. This is more than a promise for physical children. Your faith, your love, your Christlikeness, your witness, your prayers, your giving, your good deeds, your words of encouragement can all be taken by God and multiplied more than you could ever imagine (Ephesian 3:20). Remember that Rivka did not even see the fulfillment of this blessing. In fact the blessing is still in the process of multiplying itself today even as I write this to you. I am a physical descendant of Rivka, and all the women of faith in the world are spiritual descendants of Rivka. If we will walk in integrity and generosity before the Lord, He will take our seeds of faith and love and multiply them astronomically. God said to Abraham that He would multiply him more than the stars in the sky (Genesis 15:5). How's that for a blessing out of Zion! Very Present Help This Wednesday morning, Shmuel (an Israeli believer in his late 20's), was meditating on the Scripture and found this verse: "God… is our very present help in time of trouble" – Psalm 46:1. He sensed the Holy Spirit saying to him, "Today I will be very, very present with you. Stay alert." Later that day, the police in Jerusalem were in search of a criminal/terrorist but had lost track of him. Shmuel noticed someone walking down a side street and sensed something wrong. Shmuel went up to him and asked the man his name. When the man didn't answer directly, he knew this was the suspect. Shmuel called out for the police, and the man started to run. Shmuel chased after him. They jumped over one fence; ran through another courtyard; then jumped another fence. In the third courtyard, Shmuel tackled him to the ground, holding him until the police arrived. The man was arrested and found with a number of stolen documents. The astonished policemen said, "Surely you were able to do this because of your army combat unit experience." Shmuel replied, "No, it's because God is my very present help." How important it is to meditate on Scriptures every day; listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit; and obey Him immediately! The "Fifth" Apostolic Prayer The phrase "apostolic prayer" is used to refer to the prayers of the apostles as recorded in the New Covenant after the time of the resurrection of Yeshua (Jesus). Often four key prayers are cited:
But I've noticed that there is a 5th apostolic prayer. It is that recorded by Paul (Saul) the apostle in Romans 9:1 and 10:1, and that is simply for the people of Israel to be saved. Some might see that prayer as "secondary" in importance or "provincial". Yet there is a much greater revelation and purpose in this prayer than might seem so at first glance. It touches at the very heart of God (Yeshua Himself wept over Jerusalem). Paul said that he was willing even to be accursed for eternity if it would help to bring this prayer to pass.
