End Times Made Simple

There are three major events in the end times soon approaching.  They may be summarized:

1. Tribulation
2. Second Coming
3. Millennium

The tribulation is a series of worldwide difficulties which culminate in an international attack on Israel (Matt. 24). The Second Coming occurs at the peak moment of that war when Jerusalem is about to be overwhelmed by enemy forces (Zech. 14). The Millennium is the Kingdom of God on earth for 1,000 years of peace and prosperity with Yeshua ruling as King (Rev. 20).

The term "tribulation" is connected to the time of Jacob's "trouble" in the Hebrew prophets (Jer. 30:7, Dan. 12:1). During this time there is not only difficulty but also revival, evangelism, supernatural protection, purification of the Church, and the restoration of Israel.  

The Second Coming is a "last minute" intervention by Yeshua as commander of the armies of YHVH to defeat the forces of evil (Rev 19).  At that time, demons will be driven out, the dead of the first resurrection raised, and true believers supernaturally “transported” to welcome Yeshua back to earth.

After this great war, the Messianic kingdom will start. Jerusalem will be the political and spiritual capital of the world. The government will be led by Yeshua and those who will rule together with Him.  There will be great peace, prosperity, and justice in this righteous society.
During the first century, there were also three main events (Crucifixion, Resurrection, and Pentecost).  Those three events took place on the three spring holy days (Passover, Omer, and Weeks). It would be biblically logical therefore that the events of the end times will take place on the three autumn holy days (Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles).
We could summarize the connection of the autumn holy days and the end times:

1. Trumpets = Tribulation
2. Atonement = Second Coming
3. Tabernacles = Millennium

The world political-economic-social situation is already leading up to these events.  Yeshua compared this process to a woman in labor.  The pains start out light with more time between them; and then they become more intense and more quickly placed (John 16:21).

It is urgent that we repent and strengthen our faith to be able to stand in victory during the times before us.

While the world's media has been blaming Israel for the death of Gazan civilians during Operation Protective Edge, one correspondent decided to speak with Gazans themselves to hear what they had to say. M., a Gazan television producer, stated:

"Hamas is more of a threat to the Palestinian people than Israel. Hamas took over Gaza by killing us [Palestinians] and throwing our young men from high buildings. That is what Hamas is about: murder and power. Its leaders refused the Egyptian cease-fire proposal, they got hit hard by the Israelis, and then when the war stopped, they declared victory.

Hamas wanted the dead bodies to make Israel look ugly. The Western media has exerted a huge pressure on Israel for every dead Gazan. In that sense, Hamas's tactic has worked.  Of course Hamas doesn't care if we all die so long as it achieves its goals.  Qatar's sheikh is Hamas' god. He gives them billions and tells them what to do."

Kidnappers Caught - After 3 months of complex intelligence work, the Israeli security forces located the hiding place of Marwan Kawasme and Amar Abu Aysha (both in their 30's), the kidnappers and murderers of the 3 Israeli teenagers that sparked the recent war in Gaza. Israel special police surrounded the house in Hebron in order to arrest them. When they came out firing weapons, they were immediately killed by the police forces.

Syrian Fighter Plane Downed - On Wednesday morning, 9:00, a Syrian MIG fighter plane was spotted on radar heading for Israel. When it crossed over the Israeli border, the decision was made to intercept it. 80 seconds later a patriot missile hit the plane (cost of 2 million dollars per missile).

Mossad Special Agent Passes Away - This week, the legendary Mike Harari, special agent of the Israeli Mossad from the 1950's to the 80's, passed away.  He was responsible for carrying out many of the Mossad's most daring secret missions (including, for example, the hunting down and killing of the Black September terrorists who murdered the Israeli Olympic team athletes in Munich in 1973). He was one who really did what spy movies and novels only imagine.
