Literal Interpretation of End Times Prophecies

June 07, 2013
End Times prophecies are connected to Israel, because Yeshua will return there. For the past 2,000 years, the nation of Israel has been destroyed and the people dispersed. Therefore, it seemed difficult to understand these prophecies literally. Many “heavenly” interpretations were only mystical and allegorical detached from earthly, historical realities.

Yet now that the Jewish people have been regathered and the nation restored, a literal and physical fulfillment of these prophecies is becoming apparent and obvious. Yeshua will return, the nations will attack Israel, the dead will be raised, the saints raptured, the kingdom set up in Jerusalem, and Eden restored on earth.

Some people did understand the prophecies this way. Here is a quote from famous physicist Sir Isaac Newton (1642 – 1747): “About the times of the End, a body of men will be raised up who will turn their attention to the prophecies, and insist upon their literal interpretation, in the midst of much clamor and opposition.”

Yes, it is all really, actually going to take place. And those who dare to believe it and declare it will certainly face controversy and opposition. At least Sir Isaac Newton thought so.
